Apart from daily work, our lawyers also endeavor to improve professional ability and actively participate in legal academic activities.

In 1993, we held seminars on “Sino-American economic and trade law”, jointly with former Commission of Foreign Economic Relations and Trade of Guangdong Province and Varnum Riddering Schmidt & Hewlet Law Firm of US.

In the late of 1993, we hosted “The Annual Conference of the Institute of Chinese International Economic Law” in Zhuhai.

In 1995, we held seminars on “Sino-American Investment Law” with the Michigan University of the U.S.

In the April of 1999, associated with former Commission of Foreign Economic Relations and Trade of Guangdong Province, we invited Professor JiangPing to deliver a lecture on The New Contract Law, which was highly appraised by experts and scholars in the field of law and business.

In 1995, we appointed lawyers to join the representative group of Jurisprudence Institute of Guangdong and attend the 15TH Conference hosted by Asian-Pacific Law Association in BeiJing.

In 1997, we appointed lawyers to join the representative group of Chinese Jurisprudence Institute and attend the 16TH Conference hosted by Asian-Pacific Law Association in Manila, Philippine.

In the late of July,1998, invited by the California Lawyer Association, Mr. HE PEIHUA attended the seminars on “International Law and Intellectual Property Law” organized by Asia-Pacific Law Association and California Lawyer Association in San Francisco.

In February,2002, associated with the Dept of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of Guangdong Province, we held a program on anti-dumping practice.

In February,2004, invited by the HONGKONG Trade Development Council, Mr HE PEIHUA delivered a lecture on CEPA in HONGKONG; With the invitation from the HongKong Social Welfare Dept and the HongKong University, Mr HE also gave a lesson on Marriage Law of PRC.

In May,2004, Mr HE PEIHUA was invited by the Chinese University of HongKong to deliver a lecture on the Corporate Law of PRC.

In July, 2004, we were invited to HongKong to have academic exchange on the topic of Establishment of Service Enterprises in Guangdong by the HongKong Merchants under CEPA with Association of China-Appointed Attesting Officers and The Society of Chinese Accountants & Auditors.

Additionally, we have appointed lawyers to accompany the Ministry of Commerce, Dept of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of Guangdong and Representative Group of Foreign Trade and Economic of the Government of Guangdong Province to have academic research and visit in the US, France, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Australia, Singapore, Luxemburg and Hong Kong etc. Through the overseas exchanges, our team is making progress continuously in foreign-related legal service.
