Zou Yaoming, born in September 1963, a registered lawyer as well as a member of Guangdong Law Association, is one of the partners of the firm. He graduated from Guangzhou Physical College in 1985, and began a self-teaching program in law in 1990. It was in 1993 that he succeeded in acquiring a Chinese Bar License and began his lawyer's career in Guangdong Economic and Trade Law Firm in May 1994. Mr. Zou is a lawyer with good professional ethics and dedicated to providing clients with excellent services. He serves as legal consultant for many large enterprises and organizations, for example, Guangzhou Football Association, Guangzhou Teen Department Store, Guangzhou Rui Hua Real Estate Development, etc.. Besides, he is quite experienced in handling economic and civil cases.

Mr. Zou has successfully dealt with many influential cases, eg. in 1997 he handled the first criminal case in China on embezzling RMB 20 millions by science masters and doctors through computer network; in 1999,the well-known case about body damage by the goal in TianHe Stadium; in 1999, the case about false capital certificate of RMB 3 million occurring in Liannan Branch of People's Bank of China; in 2000, the dispute on the right of picturing the script of The Women's Army in Red between its writer and Hainan TV station; in 2001, the consumption dispute between Meihua Hotel and a Japanese merchant; in 2002, the construction fee (RMB 23 million) dispute between Kaiping Construction Group and Cuihu Hotel; in 2003, the dispute on the identity of a famous athlete between Guangdong Province and Liaoning Province. He has won high praises from clients and senior colleagues. Mr. Zou has contributed a great number of thesis articles to journals and newspapers for publication.
